- What is a PDF to JPG converter?
- It renders each PDF page as a picture (JPG or PNG) so you can drop pages into slides, chats, or editors that do not accept PDF.
- Are my PDFs uploaded?
- No. Pages are drawn in your browser. A draft of the file and format settings can stay on this device after refresh. Toolshelf does not receive the PDF on a server. Use Reset to clear the draft.
- Is the text still selectable?
- No. JPG and PNG are pictures of the page. This is not a vector or Word export.
- JPG or PNG?
- JPG is smaller for photos and scans. PNG keeps sharper edges for diagrams. Multi-page files download as a ZIP.
- What about password-protected PDFs?
- Encrypted files are rejected. Unlock the PDF first if you know the password. This tool does not remove unknown passwords.
