- Yes. Use Category / project for travel, food, office, or a job code. Add one line per expense. Amount paid is optional and is for your own record.
- Does the expense stay after I refresh the page?
- Yes. Fields are saved in this browser automatically. Use New expense receipt for a blank form. Nothing is stored on a Toolshelf server.
- Do I need to sign up?
- No. Toolshelf Expense Receipt Generator runs locally. There is no signup wall and no upload of expense contents for processing.
- Can I use this for reimbursement fraud?
- No. The tool is only for records of genuine expenses. Your employer or tax office may require a merchant invoice. You are responsible for truthful amounts.
