- What is OCR PDF?
- It reads pictures of pages with Tesseract in your tab and builds a searchable PDF plus a text file. Accuracy varies; handwriting is weak.
- Is my PDF uploaded?
- No. The PDF stays in the browser. English language data may download from a CDN the first time. Toolshelf does not receive your document.
- Is this translation or AI?
- No. It only tries to read printed text. It does not translate or rewrite.
