Emoji maker FAQ
- What size should a Discord custom emoji be?
- 128×128 is the usual upload size. Keep the PNG under 256 KB. If this page shows a larger file, lower the size preset. Slack custom emoji is also typically a square PNG around 128px.
- Why does the emoji look different on iPhone vs Windows?
- The picker renders with system fonts (Apple Color Emoji, Segoe UI Emoji, Noto Color Emoji). Appearance differs by OS. This is not an Apple emoji pack download.
- Is this Google Emoji Kitchen?
- No. Combining is a simple overlay on a square, not Kitchen stickers, names, or artwork.
- Is the picker complete?
- No. It is a curated in-repo list (hundreds, not every Unicode emoji). Search is local. Flags are a tiny set.
- Does a transparent PNG stay transparent?
- Yes when background is Transparent. Photos are PNG-only for SVG (SVG is hidden if you upload a raster face). Uploads stay in this browser; refresh does not restore the photo.
